Kensington House is a re-imagining of a grand home, replacing Federation-era dark rooms with contemporary planning and amenity. The design takes full advantage of the typically generous, but unrealized, roof space adding a master bedroom suite, home gym and bathroom. The modern rear addition has been replaced with an open plan family living space, kitchen and laundry/mud room. Conversion and extension of the existing detached garage provides a self-contained studio looking out over the rear yard and inground swimming pool.
